The Cake and Spoon was started in 2009 with the purpose of bringing fresh and excellent quality pastry directly to customers of our local Austin, Texas Farmer's Markets. With that tradition in mind, we look forward to helping you create an exceptional wedding cake that is an interpretation of your style as well as your taste for outstanding desserts.
As a local bakery, Cake and Spoon is seriously dedicated to utilizing Texas farms and growers, including: Smith Farms Eggs, pork from Peach Creek Farm, citrus from G and S Groves, Lightsey Farms seasonal fruit, vegetables from Tecolote Farm, Blackland Prairie Family Farm and Round Rock Honey. Ingredients that cannot be found locally are imported from the world’s best sources, such as King Arthur Flour, Plugra Butter and Madagascar vanilla. Cake and Spoon chocolate comes form Valhrona (France), El Rey (Venezuela) and Callebaut (Belgium).
Cake and Spoon delivers the finest baked treats to Austinites at local restaurants, shops and stores. We take what we do seriously so you (and your sweet tooth) can sit back and enjoy!
