“Melissa Brinckmann makes the most delicate sweet and savory tarts on the market these days. Her puckery and luxurious lemon curd tarts ($4) are my current favorite guilty pleasure.”

“Baked good are my weakness and Cake & Spoon is my kryptonite. Found them at the Cedar Park FM this weekend and managed to escape before I bought the whole booth (I was sore tempted). Beween two of us we’ve eaten a spinach quiche, a lemon custard tart, a piece of Italian cream cake and some flap jacks all in the space of a lazy Sat morning. This place is that dangerous.
…
If you don’t try this bakery, you’ll regret it. Maybe not today but soon, and for the rest of your life.”
